We here at Doom-Con are serious about making the convention as accessible as we can. To that end, we have implemented the following measures:

• An Accessibility Coordinator was appointed to the committee to ensure that venues would be evaluated based on their accessibility.

• The Accessibility Coordinator will be available throughout the convention to address any accessibility related issues that come along to allow them to be sorted as quickly as possible.

• The convention will take place on one floor, with wide doors and close access to a lift.

• A survey of food places around the convention venue is taking place, with regards to their food options and the level of accessibility of the venue. This will be available on the website after completion, and at the Registration Desk for the duration of the con.

• The possible venues for the Guest of Honour dinner were all evaluated by the Accessibility Coordinator to determine their level of accessibility and a variety of food options (including Gluten Free and Vegetarian). Those venues that did not meet our accessibility standards were ruled out.

The committee has placed accessibility as a high priority for the convention. We sincerely hope that the measures we have put in place will make for a better con experience for all involved.
