To the DoomCon membership,

The auction will be on the Friday evening (as currently scheduled). Registration of lots will be before dinner and the auction is after dinner. This will be an auction of speculative fiction fandom stuff to rival all others on that day in the western world¹.

SwanCon(™) members who think they have excess stuff (it is only perception, as there is no such thing as too much stuff) put some of their valued possessions up for auction. Come and complete your collection. Or get rid of your junk.

The number of lots per member will be limited to 5, not including lots being sold to fundraise for a fan funds. Lots for fan fund fundraising are limited to 5 per member. A lot can be any number of items². Lots maybe sold through the normal auction or a silent auction.

We are seeking volunteers for being on the auction administration desk and while we have two auctioneers a third or even fourth would be appreciated. If you are interested check out the last volunteering post.

¹ Statement not verified, but being Good Friday it is doubtful there would be another auction of speculative fiction fandom stuff at all.

² As a seller you need to get the lots to the registration desk, so there is a practical limit to the number of items included in a lot, as the DoomCon committee are yet to break the rules of physics or get permission from the Doctor to borrow the Tardis.
